So sad to hear the passing of Bill McLaren, age 86. A true legend, and my fav rugby commentater along with Keith Quinn and Winston McCathy.

Bill McLaren reminds one of the days when five nations replays or highlights were on tv1.
Also I’m sure you agree (considering your advanced age) that rugby and cricket commentaters dont do their core job of describing the action as well as they used to.
And this is why I listen to the Radio…I like the description better. And NZ commentaters are the worst, they don’t take it serious enough.
