I thought I’d make a comment on the weoful wellington cricket team before you did. Our pace attack of Chan and Tugaga with stewart first change is the laughing stock of the country. McIntosh 171, Jones a hundred, Revel 97. Then to collapse to 122. Oh dear! This after the wimp out in he one day comp. Not a good time for Wellington cricket. Rhodes is the star player and I know he wants to play for New South Wales next season at this point becuase he told me.
Also I was at the stadium last night and saw the assault from Tait and co. It was great to watch if you forget who was facing. It was a fun spectacle, just not even enough to get full value for money. Good that the girls won again but I didn’t see that as was working.
Game 2 in Chch tomorrow night. Not looking promising to break that Aussie winning streak.
