India won the toss and put Australia in,250 White 62, and India 226 Tendulkar40 Bollinger3/38.A disappointing chase by India,they got starts but then lost wickets.So its 2-2.I’m alittle suprised,as I thought India would be to strong at home.
Gayle is the WI captain to tour Australia this summer.As in previous blogs,I am suprised because I don’t rate him as a captain.Its good to see Gavin Tonge in,and it will be interesting,with his pace,on the quicker bounce wickets.

I see that the Auckland Aces have signed Ravi Bopara for this season. He was to play HRV Cup but apprently wants to play as soon as the 1st 4 day game until the end of January. I see the report called the 4 day comp the Plunket Shield. It would be great to rename it that at least until another naming sponsor comes along and wants it named after them. Anyway Auckland with Bopara look very strong on paper and must be favs this season.
You see if I call Auckland favourites to win that means they will probably lose, hehe!!
I have also seen Melb Cup on youtube and good race. Not a great year though.
