NZ carried on with Vettori 99 and McCullum 78 putting on 164parts. I don’t want to dwell on it, but again we have 4 batsman getting good test scores, but why can’t they carry on?? Its just to the normal in NZ cricket.
But well down Vettori, and yet again proving he maybe can cope with all his “jobs”. I will never agree to his “power”, but if he can cope and proves he can do it, lets go with it.
Pakistan are already looking a team here for 3 draws. I was very dissappionted with their attitude yesterday. They seem to lose interest as the day went on. But its still a good contest. I would love to see NZ declare over night, and “have a go at them”. I would be a good positive move.
Dravid144 lifted the India score, but then they folded to Herath 33-2-121-5. The pitch is starting to turn, and today is very important to SL, they must pass the follow on.

Ok, Lots to say.
1. Go Wellington!!! Joe Austin-Smillie 97 in his 1st game. Set ND 287 after been 5/33. Good on the kid. To be honest, has never shown that much when playing against Onslow but has played age group and looks a good hope at 20. I don’t know if Nevin’s baby has arrived yet.
2. ND have Southee and Arnel knocking on the door. Aldridge’s problem is he is now 32 years.
3. Chris Harris is a living legend? Question: When was the last first class 100 scored in this country by a 40 year old? I have just been on stuff actually and the answer is 82 years since anyone 40 or older did that
4. What about the test? A great game in progress? Bond is back!!!!!

If we can bowl them out quickly we have most of a day to build a lead. Let’s say 330-350, have a day and maybe 10 overs to win the game. Weather permitting of course but I feel we must win this game. Pakistan are not strong as you noted. Their batting is young and technically limited and the bowling is very good but will be better in time.
We MUST take this opportiunity!
