The injuries have now hit Australia,not just us.Hopes has gone,and Lee and Johnson are doubtful.The question has to be asked,as Ponting is saying,is there just to much non stop cricket??Are not only players going to have “burn out”,but the public will get sick of so much??
An interest article on Ian Bishop.His love of fast bowlers,how important the runup and follow thru is,and hero’s.Ive always been excited by fasy bowling,from Larwood,Tyson,Meckiff,Hall,Barlett,Thompson thru to Lee,Bond and Styn.There is something about 150+ bowling.
Oh it goes on and on.We have no coach now,and wont be advertising for one.Well I’m going to the employment tribunal,because I want to be coach and they have to advertise!!!!You only have to read overseas blogs,papers,sites etc to see we are the laughing stock of the cricket world.Hell even worse than Pakistan!!!!

No the situation has become very untidy. It’s such poor timing with the summer just about to start. I think he needed this summer to prove himself but on the other hand if the players are unhappy with him in the role then it’s difficult to keep him. Vettori now has too much responsibility but he’s willing to do it so that’s that. If we lose, he knows he must be accountable.
Who to coach? Wright, Greatbatch, Mott, Rixon, Moody, Ford etc. Watch this space?
